Do you really want to be on a diet that tells you that you cannot snack, have a piece of chocolate, or an occasional piece of pizza?
 
Whether you are trying to lose weight or control your diabetes, It’s important to have a balanced diet and still be able to give into those cravings once in a while. A good diet should include all of the food groups from the food guide pyramid; whole grains, fruits and vegetables along with lean meats, fish, omega 3 fatty acids, and yes even occasional sweets.  
 
Many people try to lose weight, but few people lose weight and keep it off. This happens for several reasons; sometimes they try to lose too much weight too fast, or they try to follow a diet plan that just isn't right for them. Reality is that losing weight in a healthy way and learning how to keep it off is not easy, it takes a lifestyle change. Are you ready?
 
Being ready is the first step to successful weight loss; the second step is taking action. How do you take action?
